ABOUT GROSOLAR

GroSolar is setup to revolutionize the solar energy adoption by implementing an innovative Solar as a Service (SaaS) model to scale up the distribution of Stand-Alone Solar Systems (SAS) through a subscription financial arrangement with offtakers. This model aims to mitigate the high upfront costs of SAS that deter many potential residential and SME users from switching to solar energy solutions. By leveraging long-term domestic financing and partnering with local solar energy service providers, GroSolar will enable access to affordable solar energy solutions.

Strategic Partner

Clean Energy Fund (CEF)

Clean Energy Fund (CEF) CEF (www.cleanenergyfund.ng) is Nigeria’s first climate-aligned clean energy local currency fund certified by Climate Bonds Initiative and authorised/registered by the Securities & Exchange Commission, to provide local currency funding from domestic institutional investors to small and medium sized climate aligned, sustainable and inclusive clean energy infrastructure that support the transition to clean energy.

STRATEGIC APPROACH

We invest in the solar supply chain to meet market demand using our unique operating model

We have formed partnerships with trusted suppliers, manufacturers and service providers of solar equipment to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply chain. This will achieve economies of scale and cost efficiencies in equipment supply and help in obtaining high-quality equipment at competitive prices, reducing the risk of equipment failures and ensuring consistent service delivery.

GroSolar Subscription

Our subscription-based model will accelerate the solar future.

Our subscription-based model allows households and businesses to pay a small monthly fee to access solar energy and take control of their energy bills without having to make a large upfront investment.

Our Mission

GroSolar is revolutionising distributed renewable energy access for households and businesses by removing key market barriers to availability, affordability and accessibility of solar as a service.
